In what we can only describe as "the worst episode ever," Robbie proves he's human and experiences the same technical problems as everyone else. We'd planned to show you how to expand a RetroPie, but instead waited and waited and fought against a SD card that turned out to be a bad card! Still, we had some good troubleshooting, so if you can see past the technical problems, great! If not, tune in again next time when we retry the same feature... with a Kingston SD card.
Proving we're only human, may I present to you Episode 496. :D
This week we had a great feature all planned: to expand the rom storage capacity of a RetroPie gaming system by adding a second SD card. We started through the steps, but by the time we realized it was a bad SD card it was too late; we'd already spent an hour trying to figure out what I did wrong (hint: I did everything correctly).
I appreciate all your support -- through the good shows and bad. This is part of the risk of doing live broadcasting, but I still think there's value in the troubleshooting steps, and you get to see a very raw side of the show.
So, I hope you enjoy all the same. Next week we'll redo the same feature (with a Kingston SD Card) and hopefully it'll go better the second time around!
