USB 3.1 R2 4-Drive SATA Enclosure

Following deliberation between our on-air team, viewers, Patrons, and our Twitter followers, USB 3.1 Rev 2 was the connection we opted for in choosing the enclosure for our homebrew NAS solution. This unit is a DAS (Direct Attached Storage) unit which allows 4 SATA disks to show up on a computer as 4 individual drives. This is not a NAS Unit unless you follow along with our tutorial series which uses an ODROID-XU4 to create a NAS server with this unit as the storage.
