Turn 2 SATA m.2 Drives Into External USB-C RAID Device

  • From Category5 Technology TV S12E46

With a little assembly, two m.2 drives can be made into a single USB 3.1 RAID drive! Downward compatible, you'll finally have redundancy in a pocket-sized portable drive, with no moving parts and no difficult configuration or drivers needed: just plug it in and go. Also compatible with other RAID modes, but we choose RAID 1 to add protection against data loss in event of a drive failure.
