This week Robert Koenig focuses on current risks, mainly scams. Cryptocurrency users are continuously targeted by phishing attacks on social media, search engines and via email. Attackers are able to perfectly imitate websites, content or applications to lure users into entering their 24-word recovery phrase. Please be very cautious. Robert Koenig explains that to be safe, never enter your 24-word recovery phrase anywhere. Also keep the private keys private. If you're asked to provide your recovery phrase OR to send crypto assets, it's a malicious attack. Exchanges: currently China and the US are targeting un-regulated exchanges. A harsh reminder to not leave any of your coins on an exchange.
