Chart analysis and cryptocurrencies. Is that possible?

When we look at technical indicators, what we want to see is does this indicator outperform random guesses? It works well in traditional markets but not so much with cryptocurrencies. BUT: analyzing on-chain data can be fairly accurate when trying to predict future prices.
