The RobbinHood ransomware, known for taking down the city of Baltimore networks and systems in Greenville, NC, has found a way to defeat Microsoft Windows defenses. The ransomware is now installing a discontinued Gigabyte motherboard driver which has a known vulnerability in it, giving the ransomware full reign over the system.
