Would buying an electric car actually SAVE you a ton of money?

Curious if an electric car will save you money on fuel costs? A report in Canada shows that the average cost to charge an electronic vehicle in Canada is just $277 CAD per year - roughly $203 USD. If it costs around $60 to fill up your gas vehicle, and you need to do that roughly once a month, that means you are paying more for gas in four months than the average electric vehicle owner pays for an entire year.
