Mars video footage from February 18, 2021 as NASA's Mars Perseverance rover landed on the surface of Mars, sending high quality video to Earth. What makes this trip exciting for us onlookers is the fact that Perseverance is equipped with an impressive array of high-resolution cameras able to send ultra-high quality imagery back to Earth. Following seven minutes of terror as the rover descended on the Red Planet at an unbelievable speed, the Mars 2020 mission team received over 30 GB of data including more than 23,000 images.
