This week we get our hands on Happy Goggles from McDonald's Sweden: a Happy Meal box that turns into a set of VR Goggles. We'll also look at a creepy, yet strangely attractive lady robot, and the latest telephone service offerings from netTALK, including their new 4G cellular service.

It's been 30 years since the Happy Meal was introduced in Sweden, and to celebrate, McDonald's Sweden has developed an innovative Google Cardboard Virtual Reality goggle made out of the perforated Happy Meal box! Happy Goggles feature a lens for each eye, and a cardboard button that triggers a "touch" action on the screen. The entire thing is recyclable, right down to the plastic lenses. Of the 3,500 Happy Goggles manufactured in the initial run, we got our hands on one to show you what it's all about!

Hanson Robotics has introduced their newest robot, named Sophia. She's pretty. She's creepy. She wants to raise a family, start a business, and destroy humans.

Nelson Hudes joins us once again to discuss netTALK's latest innovations. From an app that uses a VPN and proxy to ensure your instant messages are encrypted and hidden from prying eyes, to a new mobile app that lets you make free local calls from your cellphone no matter where you are in the world.

Shelly Desilva co-hosts this week's show, and Jeff Weston takes his boys Luke and Owen out for a drive and pulls over to broadcast the news.

We're also giving away a ton of netTALK devices, complete with 3 months of free phone service in Canada and the USA. If you support us on Patreon, you're in luck! Our first draws will be run for to those who support us on Patreon. Your support is your ballot. This means your odds of winning free phone service from netTALK are quite high! When we open up the draw to the entire viewer base, there are a lot more people competing for the prize. More contest details to come, so watch our Patreon page and make sure you're signed in to catch the exclusive content and announcements.
