This week we again welcome Robert Capps from NuData Security to discuss the technological and educational gap currently experienced by not only consumers, but by the companies they use.
Imagine losing your phone and then receiving a $24,000 bill from your mobile carrier. It really happened here in Canada, and we think companies should be doing more to protect their customers.
We welcome Robert Capps back to the show from NuData Security to talk about how the technological aspects of user authentication are just not good enough. There's no "drop in and you're done" solution to this problem brought about by a combination of technological growth and user naiveté. So this week we speak with the pro about what companies (and users too!) can do to protect identities.
Sasha and Henry were at my side the whole show, and as always we had a great time on the news stories of the week, tackling a few viewer questions... and comments about how beautiful Sasha is and terrible (cringey?) I am. It's all in good fun, and I hope you enjoy!
Thanks for supporting Category5 TV! Please remember it's end of the month time, so if you can pitch in a little extra, please jump over to the Tip Jar to help us out with our March 1st bills.
Enjoy the show!
